fan/guest art section of the next issue.
Pencil, inked with microns and watercolour markers for the grey wash tones, coloured with photoshop. Based on Ross's character design for Trilby, and based on a photo I took of my model Joanna.

Giving her the nose piercing, hurt me, lol. the braces too, slightly less so. but it's a costume!
I thought she'd make a good trilby as she has a similar nose, and used to shave the back of her head, lower half, nothing this extreme, but when I was thinking what to draw I remembered that.

This is the first thing I've coloured on my new pc, which has a flat lcd monitor, I must say it's intensely annoying that the brightness changes depending on the angle at which I am viewing it. how am I to judge it? what angle is the "correct" one that shows how it actually looks? WTF!? @_@
