I am published again, this time in the Boston Comics Roundtable anthology Inbound volume 3
It's available now in fine comic book shops in Boston, or online here:

The page I drew you can preview here: [link]
Please buy a copy, support the arts, it also contains Donna Martinez's debut in comics, a beautifully drawn story about a belly dancer's romantic exploits.

Wet Moon
Ross Campbell's [link] intriguing tale of southern goths lesbian romance and murder mystery, released in trade paperback format only, I am gonna be in Volume 5, with a piece of art in the back pages, which you can see here: [link] Ross faved it! *reverts to fanboy mode briefly* zOmg!

oh look

conservatives are protesting. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! IT'S YOUR TURN ASSHOLES!
when I saw a headline about protests I immediately thought, liberals protesting, that's what we do, then I realised, it's the conservatives. hahahahaha! oh yeah, let me get out my TINY MOTHERFUCKIN VIOLIN! enjoy it, you have at least 12 years to get the hang of protesting. xp

Ink slingin'

Last week Jay at the tat shop asked me to start seriously working up my tattoo ideas, the ones I want, ok. was doing that the other day and mentioned to Elize that I really can't afford any right now. she looked at me and said "you know you don't have to pay, right?" @_@

er, no, I didn't know. I thought I'd get half off. I can't ask Raf to do a 3 hour+ Stuart Adamson memorial portrait for free, I have to pay him something. maybe I can build him a book case. :\
so now I got no excuse...

I know for certain what I want my first tattoo to be, not 100% set on where it is to be yet though, and haven't decided on black or purple ink. its going to be the insignia with which I sign my art, which I have been using since I designed it, er, let's just say a very very very long time ago and leave it at that. I just really need to give a lot of thought to this. I have several ideas for tattoos, but only so much skin, and do not want to rush it and end up regretting the placement of one, because I won't have room for another I wanted, in a good spot.

a few weeks ago I realised I had completely lost all empathy for the pain of people getting tattoos, it no longer affects me whatsoever, thank god! or course when I'm the one inflicting the pain, that'll be another thing to get over, but I'll burn that bridge when I cross it.

Tattoos I want:
#1, mentioned above
#2, fuck numbering these, I want a Stuart Adamson tribute, he was my favourite guitarist, founder of the band Big Country, (not a country band!) er, what else, thinking about the lost in space robot, possibly also Zerak the Zeroid, a robot toy from the late 60's earlyl 70's era of space toys, digging deep into my past now, and aging myself, Alpha, the martian from Colorform's series of alien bendy toys, a tattoo of Death, Neil Gaiman's character, the cute gothette grim reaper, have started to design that, got the head down, haven't decided on a pose or if it will just be a head, and possibly a quote ("you get what everyone gets, you get a lifetime") I know that may be a partial misquote, I think it was "anyboby" not "everyone" but considering how many times she's said that, she's probably said it both ways, statistically. oh, and Starfire, mostly naked of course. but I am debating that one, what if my next girlfriend is put off by it? I mean it's one thing for me to be obsessed with the character (I am), and have a collection of comics and toys, etc, another thing for a woman to deal with a naked woman drawn permanently on the skin of her man. I am not going to rush to get that one. I could go on and on about this but this entry is probably rather long enough.

zine thing, still on hold. :p
